Hand painted 10 x 11 inch watercolor on cotton watercolor paper by me. This painting is inspired by my love of everything there is about the ocean, her fierceness, her beauty, her danger, her softness, and the life that is below the surface. I walk on the beach everyday, sometimes my imagination goes wild and I think of the creatures that are watching us from just above the surface, peeking about as curious about us land dwellers as we are about them. When I snorkel I get to visit the sea life in their home as a guest and I am never without awe and wonder of the beautiful life there is below the surface. The fish have attitude, the floor of the ocean is full of the mystery of what is hiding in her shadows, beneath the sand and in the crevices of the rocks.
